Dare to dream of M'sians living in harmony like this...
Why, why, tell me why?
Homo sapiens, being on top of the food chain, should set an example. Instead, it takes this dog, cat and rat to show us the way.
IMO, here's why we M'sians are NOT getting along - it's the politicians!!! Time and again, we hear them rant about "pendatangs", Ketuanan Melayu, raising the keris and bathing it in chinese blood, etc. Except for the indigenous people of M'sian, EVERYONE is a migrant. Heck, ALL homo sapiens on planet Earth are immigrants - we all are aliens from outer space! Haven't the science of astronomy proven all this? Aren't the life-giving blood of all of us is RED?
Way back in the early 60's when I was in school, I don't feel the racial polarization. We all lepak together and till today we are still getting along very well and is constantly in touch, as our school reunion will prove. When my children were in school, they tell me that they felt "abandoned". So, I tell them to ignore this polarization and concentrate on their studies. With good results, it'll at least try to even out the 'play
1Malaysia, my foot!!! Show me the beef!!!
Perhaps, the below 2 articles below best illustrate the point and I stand corrected:

Hope of coming home to serve country dashed
I AM almost completing the Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Western Australia and have been looking forward to serving the country.
I completed my undergraduate Science degree in USM Penang and opted for an internationally recognised teaching qualification for security purposes.
I recently applied online on the Education Ministry’s website for the position of Guru Sandaran Terlatih and have been regularly checking the site for updates after I found it difficult to speak directly to a person about my circumstances.
When I finally managed to speak to an officer from the ministry last week, he informed me that the route to a permanent post is via an initial probationary period subject to confirmation, and that it was the same for teaching students from public and private colleges.
He, however, could not offer me more information and suggested I call back at another time. I later spoke to someone else in the office about the process and she told me that I would need to have my qualifications recognised by the JPA before I could be granted an interview. But she did not know what should be done after obtaining the JPA recognition.
Anyway, I called JPA and was curtly told that my qualifications are not recognised, never mind that it is internationally recognised. I was too distraught to proceed with further questions like where should I go from here, etc.
I do not mean to sound pompous, but my reports and academic results have been outstanding and I have even been offered a teaching position overseas. I declined because I wanted to come home to serve my country.
To be presented with such news is both disappointing and shocking. I guess I can still apply to local private schools but my desire is to make a positive difference in the public education system – a system that I am proudly a product of.
Now I need to figure out what to tell my parents who have funded this course with their life savings. I know I will be faulted for not finding this out before enrolling but really, who would have thought that an internationally recognised qualification is not recognised in Malaysia? Needless to say, I am disillusioned and extremely disappointed that my qualifications and big dreams have no place in Malaysia. Do we even need to wonder why young people are forced out of their own country?
DISILLUSIONED,
Australia.
I dreamt more BN MPs and ADUNs to die so that...
... at least the people that pay their salaries/perks, etc, get some back during a by-election. Below is an example and the latest one, too. Now, I wonder... should BN lose this by-election, will Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin keep his promise?
TIME WILL TELL.

Chinese schools in Teluk Kemang to get RM1.4mil boost
PORT DICKSON: Chinese schools in Teluk Kemang received a financial boost when Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin promised RM1.4mil for them.
He also promised to provide RM500,000 in funds for the Hoon Leong temple here.
The allocations were announced by Muhyddin during a dinner organised by the Chinese community at the temple here last night.
He said the allocations would be paid out by next year.
Among those who attended the dinner were Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Tourism Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen, Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and Barisan Nasional candidate for Bagan Pinang Tan Sri Isa Samad.
Isa, who came a little late for the dinner, was given a rousing welcome by those present when he walked in.
In his speech, Muhyiddin said the support of the Chinese community was important for Barisan.
“Nobody should be left out in the country’s development programmes.
“The Government appreciates the contributions of the community to the national economy,” he added.
Dr Ng said she would ensure that the temple would be included in the country’s tourism map.
She urged the temple management to add attractions such as souvenir stalls for tourists.

A Malay to be proud of.....(the UMNO way!)
Bocor! RM1.9 million ringgit
UMNO Cuti (Lawatan Sambil Belajar)
AFTER a gruelling seven days, the public inquiry into possible misuse of funds by Wives of Selangor Elected Representatives Charity Organisation (BALKIS) ended yesterday, leaving those who attended reeling from the revelations.
The inquiry is the first to be conducted by a State Legislative Assembly in the country. Other States are widely expected to follow suit following the conclusion of the Balkis inquiry.
Yesterday, PNSB chief executive officer Datin Khairiyah Abu Hassan dropped a bombshell when she further revealed how much the State-owned conglomerate had forked out for former Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohd Khir Toyo and his family’s expenses during the overseas technical visits.
She also drew hoots of laughter when she explained the reasons for the trips.
1. Jakarta and Jogjakarta , Indonesia - 20-24 April 2003
Total cost: RM201,452
Dr Khir, his wife, daughter and maid also went on the trip. The purpose was for delegates to study Indonesia ’s batik production, which was supposed to lead to the opening of a batik factory in Selangor.
Cost of airfare for Dr Khir, his wife, daughter and maid: RM37,695
Miscellaneous costs incurred by the delegates RM34,404
Spent on two-day rental of a limousine/ Mercedes Benz in Jakarta : RM5,800
Paid for two-day rental of a limousine/ Mercedes Benz in Jogjakarta : RM5,000
2. Morocco and Paris : 17-24 Dec 2004
(inclusive of four-day transit in Dubai )
Total cost: RM900,000
The trip, attended by Dr Khir, his wife, children and maid as well as PNSB delegates, was to study Islamic architecture, which could be adopted in Selangor.
The group, which had a reconnaissance trip beforehand, also visited Paris Disneyland to generate ideas for a theme park in Bagan Lalang, Sepang.
They bought tickets to enter the theme park and did not meet any Disneyland representatives.
Cost of the recce team trip: RM366,000
Cost of official trip: RM416,000
Airfare: RM366,000
Ground arrangements RM420,000
City travel: RM70,000
Other expenses RM43,000
Total cost: RM646,841
Additional cash taken: RM101,000
A technical study on the Bagan Lalang theme park was also the pivotal reason for the trip. The group, comprising Dr Khir, his family and PNSB delegates, bought tickets to DisneyWorld and again did not meet any Disneyland representatives.
A tour guide instead took them around. Cost of Dr Khir’s luxury suite: RM110,000
Cost of six single superior rooms for the delegates: RM171,000
Cost of one twin-sharing room RM24,800
Khairiyah claimed that on the trips, Dr Khir and his wife flew only first class.
The itinerary of the US trip also included visits to Miami Beach , island tours, dinner cruises and a Honolulu city tour.
Dr Khir and his wife, supposed to have been key witnesses, failed to turn up for any of the inquiry proceedings.
Dr Khir would be referred to the Committee of Privileges while Zaharah could be prosecuted under Section 5 of the Contempt of the House Act 2008. The inquiry’s findings will be presented at the next sitting of the Selangor State Assembly in July.
The Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission is expected to investigate possible criminal breach of trust (CBT) once Selcat concludes its findings and police conclude their investigations.
11 Sept 2009 - Khir Toyo was called for questioning by MACC but he was let go after some greetings and minor questions. Why didn't they keep him overnight like Teoh Beng Hock and then see if he jumps to his death from Plaza Masalam?
Bagan Pinang by-election is this month, on 11 October 2009. If you love Barisan Nasional, then vote for UMNO in Bagan Pinang. They will also love you for giving up your hard-earned tax ringgit so that they can enjoy a luxurious elite lifestyle, travelling all over the world and living like kings without having to work for a single cent. Be a good rakyat - Vote BN in Bagan Pinang on 11 October 2009, give UMNO more money.

Hypocrite Muslim Minister In Malaysia Cleared The Caning Of Muslim Mother For Drinking Beer
Source: www.GutterUncensored.com
So, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein cleared the Prisons Department to cane Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno for drinking beer. The same Home Minister that is known to enjoy a cold beer every now and again. The same Home Minister that was pictured drinking a few cold beers in the playboy days surrounded by a bunch of loose drunken women. The same Home Minister who's wife was also pictured knocking a cold one down herself. Anyway, send in more pictures and/or video of Muslim politicians in Malaysia who don't practice what they preach to GutterUncensored@yahoo.com. The corruption and phoniness of some Malaysian politicians would be funny if they didn't have the power to torture people. How can a man who himself clearly enjoy a beer every now and again himself signed a paper clearing the way for another person who share his taste. The double standard of these people is fucking incredible, someone need to tell Hishammuddin Hussein that he is a Muslim that has violated Syariah law. And ask him when is he going to get his six strokes from the cane. It's only fair... It would be justice. The Star report:
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has “cleared” the Prisons Department to cane part-time model Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno. He said department director-general Datuk Zulkifli Omar and a woman officer came to his office last week to conduct a caning demonstration for him.
“She tapped the back of a chair with the cane.
“There was little force involved and it was not going to inflict pain, not even like the caning carried out in schools in those days.
“I am now satisfied that the caning can be carried out by the department if the court decides to proceed and enforce the sentence,” he said in an interview.
Hishammuddin had recently said the ministry needed to study the proper procedures before caning the woman according to Syariah law, adding that he would not allow the department to execute the caning sentence if it did not have the knowledge and expertise to do it.
Kartika, a 32-year-old mother-of-two, was fined RM5,000 and ordered to be whipped six times for drinking beer in a hotel in Cherating last year.
Her sentence has been deferred until after Ramadan.
Several parties, such as the Bar Council, have called for the sentence to be annulled.
Hishammuddin said that although he was now satisfied that the department was able to conduct the caning, he still felt it had no experience to do so.
“This is because the woman (Kartika) will be the first to be caned (under Syariah laws applicable to Muslims). Four men who have received caning sentences by the Syariah Court are appealing their sentences,” he said.
On the merits of Kartika’s caning sentence, the minister said he had told the department not to get “embroiled in this.”
“That is not their purview. It is the judicial process which decides that. If the caning sentence is to be imposed, it is their duty to carry it out fairly.”
Kartika’s father, Shukarno Mutalib, when contacted, said the family was happy to hear that the department was able to handle the caning.
“Alhamdullillah (praise be upon Allah). Kartika wants it over and done with,” he said.
It would seem hypocrisy is an official state policy in Malaysia. Here is Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein enjoying a few cold Anchor beer with a few ladies in his younger playboy days. These pictures have been around for some time now but it is an appropriate time to share them again in light of his recent decision to have a woman suffer from six stroke from a cane. Hishammuddin Hussein was never caned for drinking beer because certain people in Malaysia can getaway with murder while people like Kartika are treated like dogs for the most minor infractions. Yup, she is going to be punished for the same crime the Home Minister himself is no stranger to. The woman officer should have demonstrated the caning on him for his past infractions of the laws he is enforcing now. Hopefully the western media with pick up on this bit of hypocrisy. Click pictures to enlarge.
This is supposedly one of his mistresses, the air stewardess that was caught having an affair with him in Johor Bahru. And she is said to be the same lady that he took to Mongolia on a trip with the then PM.

Chinese politicians can only DREAM about this.
========================
Isa unlike other guilty leaders, says Hishammuddin
By Asrul Hadi Abdullah Sani
PUTRAJAYA, Sept 30 – There’s good guilt and then there’s bad guilt, going by the argument Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein put forward today in defence of Tan Sri Isa Samad’s selection as Umno candidate in the Bagan Pinang by-election.
In praising the man whom Umno once found guilty of vote buying as “a loyal servant of the party”, Hishammuddin also called Isa the “people’s candidate,” in an acknowledgement to polls which suggest the former Umno vice-president was very popular in Bagan Pinang despite being tainted by his corrupt past.
“He is different from certain individuals who, when found guilty by the party, they are willing to curse the party that has served them. Tan Sri Isa is different. He is patient and strong, and his loyalty to the party is one matter which was considered by the top leadership,” he said.
Umno yesterday picked Isa as the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Bagan Pinang by-election.
The by-election is expected to end Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) winning streak in all by-elections in the peninsula since the last general election as the constituency is considered an Umno stronghold.
Hishammuddin told reporters today that the party’s top leadership considered the wishes of the people when nominating Isa.
“The consideration the top leadership had in announcing Tan Sri Isa as our candidate is the fact that the people of Bagan Pinang and Teluk Kemang, and not only Umno but people of all races, wanted him,” he said.
Hishammuddin said that the opposition would try to tie Isa to his past but stressed that it was the voters who would decide Isa’s fate.
“At the end of the day, these people trying to tie him to the past are not the ones who are going to vote. The ones that are going to vote are the people there and the people there want him,” he said.
The Bagan Pinang by-election was made necessary following the death of BN’s Azman Mohammad Noor on Sept 4.
It is situated within the Teluk Kemang parliamentary constituency represented by PKR’s Datuk Kamarul Baharin Abbas.
Apart from Bagan Pinang, Umno also won the neighbouring Linggi state seat in last year’s election, while PR controls three other state seats in Teluk Kemang — Chuah (PKR), Lukut (DAP) and Port Dickson (PKR).
In March last year, Azman defeated Ramli Ismail of PAS, by some 2,000 votes.
BN is currently ruling the state with a simple majority after winning only 21 out of the 36 state constituencies.
